Practice Manager — Pediatric Therapy Clinic (Bilingual)

L. Rose Recruiting is representing Felice Center in its search for a  bilingual Practice Manager (English/Spanish)  in  Maitland, Florida .

Felice Center is a small pediatric therapy practice where children and families receive support with communication, movement, coordination, sensory needs, and everyday skills. Its therapists provide  speech and language, occupational, and physical therapy . The Practice Manager helps make that care possible by keeping the business side of the clinic organized, responsive, and running smoothly.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys being around children and families, values the work therapists do, and likes making a visible difference in a small practice. You’ll work closely with the owner and clinical team, combining hands-on daily management with improvements to billing, efficiency, and community relationships. There is also an opportunity to deepen your skills and take on more responsibility in areas such as billing as the practice grows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling, daily operations, and administrative workflows so families and therapists have a positive experience.

• Identify practical ways to reduce expenses and improve efficiency while supporting quality patient care.

• Use QuickBooks to track expenses, maintain financial records, and prepare reports for the owner.

• Oversee insurance eligibility checks, authorizations, timely claim submission, and follow-up on unpaid or denied claims, including Medicaid claims.

• Partner with therapists to resolve documentation issues that affect billing.

• Track staff professional licenses and renewal dates, and help ensure required licenses remain active and up to date.

• Handle basic office technology issues, such as printer problems, and coordinate outside support when needed.

• Help recruit new therapists.

• Build relationships with referral sources and community partners.

• Maintain a simple monthly scorecard for billing, efficiency, and outreach.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required , with the ability to communicate clearly with children and families in both languages.

• Experience managing operations in an outpatient healthcare or therapy practice.

• Hands-on experience with insurance billing, claims follow-up, and denials; Medicaid experience is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with pediatric therapy workflows and clinical documentation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.

• Comfort with everyday office technology and basic troubleshooting.

• A welcoming, patient approach with children and families.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to take initiative and collaborate closely with a small clinical team.

• QuickBooks experience preferred.

Compensation and schedule

The base salary is $55,000 annually , which includes health reimbursement. The role also offers  up to $500 per month in performance bonuses tied to defined billing and collections, efficiency, and outreach goals. Total potential annual compensation is  up to $61,000 .

As a small, independently run practice, Felice Center offers a hands-on role with the chance to make a visible impact. The compensation reflects the practice’s size.

Schedule: Full-time, approximately 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with flexibility around start and end times. Fridays are remote. This arrangement may change based on the practice’s needs.
