Our client, a national Am Law firm, has an active need for a trusts and estates counsel-level attorney to join its Private Client practice in Chicago. This practice provides a wide range of services including business planning, multigenerational wealth management and transfer, asset protection, retirement planning, charitable giving, and tax minimization. Highlights Named as a Best Law Firm in the Midwest by Vault Firm provides associates with strong mentorship and preparation for partnership Collaborative and social firm atmosphere Responsibilities Assist individuals, families, and business owners in navigating sophisticated tax planning, wealth transfers, and the administration of complex estates and trusts Draft, review, and update complex trusts and estate plans for individuals and businesses Advise clients on asset protection planning, business succession planning, and fiduciary income and estate and gift tax issues Required Qualifications 9+ years of complex trust and estate administration and planning experience, including expertise in tax matters Background advising high net worth clients, family offices, and businesses regarding trust and estate matters Admitted in the State of Illinois Location Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this position is $300,000 - $400,000.
