Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Muscoda, WI
At Rivers Edge Nursing & Rehab, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our residents, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team.
About the Role:
As a CNA, you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. Your duties will include assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to our nurses. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor and report vital signs, such as pulse, temperature, and blood pressure
Provide emotional support and companionship to our residents
Assist with exercises and physical therapy as needed
Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care
Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Wisconsin
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents of varying weights and abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compassion and empathy for residents and their families
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
