Chick-fil-A Westfield/Carmel at Greyhound Pass | Carmel, Indiana

Full-Time | $75,000–$90,000 annually

We’re looking for the #2 leader in our organization—the person directly underneath the Owner/Operator who will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of a high-volume Chick-fil-A restaurant.

As our Operating Partner, you’ll lead our leaders, drive business results, develop people, create accountability, and ensure our restaurant performs at a high level—with or without the Owner/Operator in the building.

The Role

The Operating Partner is the highest operational leadership position under the Owner/Operator .

You will have responsibility across both Front of House and Back of House and will lead primarily through our Director and Manager team.

You’ll be responsible for the health of the overall operation—not simply running individual shifts.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead, coach, and hold accountable our Director and Manager team
• Own day-to-day restaurant operations
• Drive performance in sales, labor, productivity, speed, accuracy, hospitality, food quality, food safety, and cleanliness
• Identify operational problems and ensure sustainable solutions are implemented
• Create alignment between Front of House and Back of House
• Develop current leaders and build our future leadership pipeline
• Ensure standards remain high regardless of who is working
• Turn business goals and vision into consistent execution
• Provide the Owner/Operator with clear communication, recommendations, and solutions
• Build systems and leaders that make the restaurant stronger and less dependent on any one individual

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced leader who has already demonstrated the ability to lead a significant operation.

The ideal candidate has:

• Significant restaurant, hospitality, retail, or operational leadership experience
• Experience leading a large team
• Proven experience leading managers and other leaders
• Strong operational and business instincts
• Experience managing labor, staffing, performance metrics, and business results
• A track record of developing leaders
• High standards and strong personal accountability
• The confidence to make difficult decisions
• The ability to have direct, respectful accountability conversations
• Strong emotional intelligence
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• The ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
• An ownership mentality

Previous Chick-fil-A experience is valuable, but not required .

Experience as a Restaurant General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations, Multi-Unit Leader, Hospitality General Manager, Retail General Manager, or similar senior operational leader could translate well into this opportunity.

Compensation

Base Salary: $75,000–$90,000 annually

Final compensation will be based on experience, leadership scope, and demonstrated ability to lead a complex operation.
