Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN Nurse) - Dialysis Unit - Brooklyn, NY

Doral Health & Wellness is hiring a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dialysis clinic in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time LPN nurse role follows a rotating Monday–Saturday schedule (MWF and TThS) and offers a rewarding opportunity to support patients undergoing dialysis for kidney disease and related conditions. Key Responsibilities Assist with patient assessments before, during, and after dialysis treatments. Monitor and document vital signs, promptly reporting changes to the RN (Registered Nurse) or physician. Administer prescribed medications within LPN nurse scope of practice. Prepare, set up, and monitor dialysis equipment; assist with vascular access site care. Collaborate with RNs, licensed practical nurses, CNAs, and physicians to execute care plans. Educate patients and families on treatment and home care instructions. Maintain accurate documentation in patient medical records. Promote a safe and supportive environment in our LPN clinic. Qualifications Active New York State LPN license. Prior dialysis, nephrology, or LPN hospital/clinic experience preferred. BLS certification required. Strong observation, teamwork, and patient education skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. CNA, nurse, and new grad LPNs with dialysis exposure encouraged to apply.
