Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce high-quality components.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred.
• 2+ years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

Work in a machine shop environment from Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm. The environment can be noisy, and you may get dirty from oils and machine operation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
