About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent emergency room experience required. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required. Must-Have: One recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for. Description: All requirements listed in the job description are non-negotiable. Minimum of 18 months recent emergency room experience is required. Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission. BLS & ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications are required. Only one recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is accepted. No co-worker references will be considered, and profiles will be rejected if submitted. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. Required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission. All travelers must comply with the nicotine-free policy except for certain exempted roles. Travelers who have an open case in a background check will not be accepted. Healthcare professionals must complete the background checks within specific time frames. Extensions may be granted to travelers who meet the necessary criteria. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months with a required break before returning. Modules are required to be completed prior to the start date and may vary by specialty. Nurses and certified surgical techs are exempt from specific nicotine-free facility requirements. All other travelers must complete a 10-panel drug screen within a designated time frame before starting. The facility will not accept any license hits from background checks.
