This facility in Fort Myers, Florida is seeking a locum tenens Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist to assist with ongoing inpatient coverage. Candidates must be board certified and hold an active Florida medical license to be considered. The position is on-site and requires availability for weekend shifts with overnight call responsibilities.

Fort Myers, Florida offers a range of recreational and cultural attractions suited to a variety of interests. Clinicians may explore the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve, and Manatee Park during time away from the facility. Outdoor enthusiasts may take part in guided kayaking through wetlands and mangrove tunnels, shelling boat tours across the 10,000 Islands, and parasailing adventures along the beach.

The clinician will provide inpatient advanced heart failure coverage on a weekend schedule running from Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 8:00 AM. Rounding is conducted on-site on Saturdays and Sundays for approximately 8 hours, with all coverage beyond that considered call. Call is required, and this is an on-site position. Board certification in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology is required for this assignment.
