Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Palliative Medicine Chief , you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Omaha , specializing in diagnosing and treating patients making a significant impact on their lives and families. Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families. To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Hospitalist, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex patients, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment. Working in an academic and teaching environment educating Creighton University's palliative fellows, residents, and medical students at CHI Health and Creighton University School of Medicine. Job Requirements Required Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution Fellowship trained in Palliative Medicine Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska Strong clinical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with families, and healthcare professionals Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families Where You'll Work CHI Health is the largest faith-based health system in Nebraska and southwest Iowa, serving patients through a comprehensive network of hospitals, clinics, and specialty care locations.
