Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: OR - Operating Room \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: 09/28/2026 \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 40 hours per week \n Shift: 8 hours, days \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n Travel OR RN – Oncology Surgery | Omaha, NE Specialty: Operating Room RN Experience: 2 years OR RN required Must Have: Oncology Surgery General Surgery experience Trauma: Level II required; Level I strongly preferred Float: Required — must be a well-rounded OR RN Shift: Primarily Days, 4×10s (7 AM–5 PM); possible night/off-shift rotation Call: 1–2 weeknights per week weekend call approximately every 4–5 weeks Block Schedule: ❌ Not accommodated First-Time Travelers: ❌ Not accepted Certifications: BLS required EMR: Epic required License: Pending Nebraska RN license accepted Local Radius: ❌ Must live more than 100 miles from the facility RTO: Must be provided at submission; no RTO during the first orientation week Orientation: Biweekly Scrubs: Provided by the facility Nicotine Policy: 100% nicotine-free facility Interview: Please provide availability for the next 3–4 days Required Case Experience: Must have experience with the majority of oncology/general surgery cases, including Whipple, esophagectomy, exploratory laparotomy, bowel resection, thyroid/parathyroid procedures, neck dissection, mastectomy, lumpectomy, breast reconstruction, free flaps, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and melanoma excisions. Highly Preferred: DaVinci Robotics, Oncology, Orthopedic, and Neuro OR experience.
