Sr. Technician, Operations (2nd Shift) - Onsite

Merck seeks a Senior Technician for Operations (2nd Shift) at its West Point, Pennsylvania facility to lead a clinical packaging team. The role involves overseeing filling, labeling, and packaging activities while ensuring GMP compliance, training staff, and maintaining product quality and documentation standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate clinical packaging, labeling, and de-packaging operations
- Lead team members to ensure GMP/SOP compliance and safety in all activities
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching for daily packaging room activities
- Document transactions in SAP and paper records per Good Documentation Practice
- Stage materials, coordinate equipment setup, and manage room cleaning and clearance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year in GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
- Leadership experience managing packaging technician teams
- Prior SAP or similar Manufacturing Execution System experience
- Vision qualification (20/20 with correctives) for inspection and cleaning
- Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills
Compensation: $63,800-$100,400 base
