Landscape Team Lead Britescape | Seattle, WA Pay: $28 – $34 / hr The Mission: Guide the crew, bring the vision to life, and take pride in every property At Britescape, the Landscape Team Lead directs daily field operations, leading the crew by example to ensure high-quality installation and teamwork. Under the Manager’s general oversight, you are the trusted, hands‑on mentor on the ground. You partner with your crew to tackle the daily hustle, supporting each other's success and taking pride in ensuring every stone, plant, and pipe meets the Britescape standard. The Role: Crew Leadership & Mentorship Crew Momentum & Safety: You set the positive tone and the pace for the day. You keep the team motivated, organized, and moving efficiently while ensuring everyone works safely. Hands‑on Teaching: You understand the "how-to" of landscape installation and love sharing that knowledge. You'll guide crew members through tasks including: preparing paver bases, hardscaping, installing landscape edging, plant installation, and helping them sharpen their skills. Quality & Craftsmanship: You are the Manager’s trusted eyes on the ground. By coaching the crew on proper planting depths, spacing, and techniques, you maintain a level of craftsmanship that the whole team can be proud of. Daily Coordination: With guidance from the Enhancements Manager, you keep the job site running smoothly, delegate daily tasks effectively, and lead the team through the final cleanup before heading back to the shop. The Profile Experience: 2+ years of hands‑on landscaping/hardscaping. You know your way around a job site, can read a planting plan, and enjoy leading by example. Leadership Mindset: You are a reliable, positive communicator who can rally a team—and genuinely cares about helping your crew succeed. Mobility: Valid Driver’s License with a clean record. You’re comfortable driving crew trucks through Seattle's urban streets. Physicality: Ability to work outdoors year-round and lift at least 75 lbs alongside your team.
