Baystate Health is hiring Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) across multiple inpatient departments at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA !

The Patient Care Technician Wil l

• Provide compassionate patient care, assisting with daily activities, mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition.
• Assist with patient safety, treatments, procedures, and specimen collection.
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Schedule Details

• Shift: Days, primarily 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Hours: Vary by position
• Weekend Requirement: Varies by department and position

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• At least one year of patient care experience, including long-term care, specialty care, or acute care
• PCT training or CNA training

No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
