Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas. Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the property, inspect incoming and outgoing traffic as directed, and report irregularities or unauthorized access attempts. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and promptly communicating with appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
