Industrial Inspection Project Assistant

Nova Data Testing is seeking hard‑working, dependable individuals to join our team as Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) Assistants supporting projects across the southeastern and northeastern United States. The Project Assistant works closely with NDT Technicians to support field inspections. Ideal candidates have experience in a trade or hands‑on industrial environment and are eager to learn and grow in a specialized, in‑demand field; however, prior experience is not required. We welcome motivated individuals who are willing to learn and work hard. This position offers both on‑the‑job and classroom training, providing a clear pathway to advance into a certified NDT Technician role. Responsibilities Assist NDT Technicians with the setup and calibration of NDT equipment Travel to job sites as required to support project execution Support the execution of NDT procedures using methods such as visual inspection, ultrasonic testing, and magnetic particle testing Accurately record, document, and organize inspection results Maintain testing equipment and ensure related records are up to date Use power tools such as angle grinders and die grinders for surface preparation Follow all established safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant working environment Perform additional job‑related tasks as assigned by management Why Join Nova Data Testing?
