The role begins with a thorough review of case files and prioritization of tasks related to ongoing litigation activities. A key focus is assisting attorneys with the organization of discovery materials and drafting necessary documents such as interrogatories and requests for production. Throughout the day, maintaining consistent communication with clients is essential to provide updates and gather relevant information, ensuring that case progress aligns with their goals. As trial preparation intensifies, efforts are directed toward coordinating trial support activities, which include preparing exhibits, organizing trial binders, and scheduling witness testimonies. Mentorship is also a crucial component at our law firm, as guidance is provided to junior paralegals to foster a collaborative environment and enhance the overall effectiveness of the litigation team. Join us and become the change our community so desperately needs!WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN OUR CIVIL LITIGATION PARALEGAL:5+ years of litigation paralegal experienceStrong knowledge of federal and state court rules, procedures, and filing requirementsSkilled in drafting and responding to discovery, motions, legal documents, and correspondenceProficient in formatting legal documents, preparing TOCs/TOAs, and applying proper citationsExperience with legal case management softwareAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detailHighly organized with proven multitasking abilityCapable of working independently or collaboratively with a proactive, solution-focused approachExperienced in trial preparation and support, including exhibits, jury instructions, witness lists, and logisticsKnowledgeable in e-discovery tools and processesFamiliar with legal billing and timekeeping systemsStrong ability to manage high-pressure situations and meet multiple deadlinesCivil litigation experience (preferred)Bachelor 's degree (preferred)Ready to get started?
