Pediatrician

Locations - Elk Grove/Sacramento, CA The Pediatrician role at Akrostech Consulting is a full-time, on-site position based in Sacramento, CA. The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive primary care to infants, children, and adolescents, including conducting routine examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing chronic conditions, and administering vaccinations. Daily responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and coordinating care with other physicians and healthcare professionals. The role also involves counseling patients and caregivers on preventive care, growth and development, nutrition, and safety, as well as maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to all clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards. The Pediatrician will contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on quality care and clear communication. Clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to deliver safe, evidence-based pediatric care. Specialized skills in Pediatrics, including management of common childhood conditions and developmental care. Experience or training in Neonatology, particularly in the assessment and care of newborns and infants. Ability to work effectively with Physicians and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary setting. Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution and completion of a Pediatric residency; board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics preferred. Current, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) to practice in California, with relevant DEA registration. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive, family-centered care and cultural sensitivity. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and adherence to HIPAA and other regulatory requirements. Demonstrated ability to manage a varied caseload, exercise sound clinical judgment, and maintain professional ethics. #J-18808-Ljbffr
