Job Description

Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing (Experience and national certifications may be considered in place of the bachelor's degree upon approval, with a commitment to obtain a bachelor's degree within 3 years of hire)
• Current RN license
• Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR, CNOR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
• Minimum of 5 years of hospital nursing experience
• 3 years of OR experience required
• Proficiency in word processing and internet use
• Ability to type a minimum speed of 45 WPM accurately

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide education and instruction focused on clinical staff within a healthcare facility
• Act as a resource regarding healthcare education and training programs
• Support the development of education in collaboration with department managers and clinical nurse coordinators
• Utilize simulation training and software for educational purposes
• Work closely with the Quality Management team to promote continuous improvement across the system
• Evaluate educational programs and participant learning, implementing changes as needed
• Maintain patient confidentiality and handle information appropriately
• Foster a sense of teamwork and cooperation among staff through effective communication and support
