Histology Associate
Location: Tucson, AZ Duration: 12 Months+
Onsite position. 1st Shift hours, Mon-Fri from 7:30am - 4:00pm. OT is available but not required. Candidates with general laboratory experience are encouraged to apply.
The Opportunity
- Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination
- Operate and maintain histology laboratory equipment
- Ensure quality control and compliance with laboratory standards
- Assist pathologists with specimen analysis
- Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
Who You Are
- 0–5 years of experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of industry best practices
- Well suited candidates are quick learners and self-starters
Preferred:
- Histotechnician or Histotechnologist certification
- Previous lab experience preferred
- Certification in histotechnology preferred
Education:
- Highschool diploma or GED is required
