Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a CVOR position requiring 5+ years of CVOR experience and main OR experience with willingness to float.

Details

• Level II Trauma Center with a 12-suite OR including 2 dedicated CVOR suites
• Day shift staffing of 4 RNs and 4 CSTs per CVOR, with night shift covered on-call
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Shift runs 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with a variable call schedule
• EMR system used is Meditech
• Required to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• Willingness to float to main OR required

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license
• 5+ years of CVOR experience required
• Main OR experience required
• Experience with CABG/valve replacement and thoracic/vascular procedures
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Nurses who also scrub preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required for Florida-based assignments

Additional Information

• Perform cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacement, thoracic, and vascular cases
• Team player with a flexible approach is ideal for this unit
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• No local candidates will be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered if experience requirements are met
