Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Pulmonary Thoracic Intermediate Care / Step Down – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedule varies

Highlights:

• Intermediate care unit specializing in pulmonary and thoracic patient populations
• Diverse case mix including high-risk respiratory patients, cardiac thoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and head/neck surgery
• Patient acuity ranging from room air to BIPAP and Optiflow respiratory support
• Night shift position providing critical care in a fast-paced intermediate/step-down environment
• Holiday coverage required: 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Georgia or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in pulmonary, thoracic, or intermediate/step-down specialty
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification preferred
