End Date: 03/29/2027

Shift: 5x8-Hour Day Shifts (08:00 - 16:00), plus weekend rounding

Hours/Week: Varies based on schedule

Employment Type: Contract

License/Certs: BC in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) or BC in General Psychiatry with CAP fellowship

Experience: Minimum required; experience with adolescent patients and multidisciplinary teams preferred

Pay & Benefits

Pay Rate: $273/hour

Night Call: $750/night

In-person Coverage Rate: $300/hour

Telehealth Rate: $225/hour

Weekly Pay Schedule: via Direct Deposit

What You'll Do

Provide psychiatric care for adolescent patients, managing 6-12 patients per day

Cover weekend rounding and on-call duties, including night calls and admission orders

Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and team members

Administer and manage psychiatric medications and therapies

Lead and supervise multidisciplinary team members

Address challenging behaviors and de-escalate when necessary

Ensure compliance with legal, safeguarding, and educational protocols

What You Need

BC in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) or BC in General Psychiatry with CAP fellowship

Strong background in adolescent development, family systems, and psychopharmacology

Experience in managing adolescent psychiatric conditions

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and night calls

Valid medical license for California
