A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to contribute their expertise within an inclusion classroom setting. This role begins at the start of the 2026-2027 academic year and extends through the end of the school year, with potential for additional days dedicated to pre- and post-planning.

The successful candidate will work closely with two supportive and collaborative teams, providing specialized instruction and fostering student growth. This position supports approximately 8 to 9 students, ensuring individualized learning opportunities in a dynamic and encouraging environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current GaPSC Teaching Educator Certification with a Special Education General Curriculum endorsement is required
• Prior experience in a Special Education teaching role, ideally within an inclusion classroom, preferred
• Demonstrated ability to adapt curriculum, implement IEPs, and employ differentiated instruction
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive, and student-centered learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with support teams
• Provide co-teaching and targeted support strategies within the inclusion classroom
• Assess student progress and adjust strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate actively with general education teachers and related service providers
• Maintain clear documentation and effective communication with families and team members
