Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a broad range of ultrasound exams including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety by thoroughly explaining procedures with warmth and empathy
• Work in partnership with radiologists and physicians to ensure precise and high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Manage the operation and upkeep of ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in the electronic medical system
• Commit to ongoing learning and adaptation of the latest ultrasound imaging methods and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
