Key Responsibilities:

System Support and Maintenance:

Informatics Pharmacists are involved in the development, implementation, and maintenance of pharmacy information systems, including electronic health records (EHRs) and clinical decision support systems (CDSS).

Data Analysis and Reporting:

They analyze data from these systems to identify trends, generate reports, and provide insights to improve medication management practices.

Workflow Optimization:

Informatics Pharmacists work to streamline workflows and processes within the pharmacy to enhance efficiency and patient safety.

Training and Support:

They provide training and support to pharmacists and other healthcare staff on the use of new technologies and systems.

Collaboration:

They collaborate with pharmacists, physicians, nurses, IT professionals, and other healthcare providers to improve medication use and patient outcomes.

Change Management:
