Wire Board Assembly Technician, 2nd shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Wire Board Assembly Technician, 2nd shift at our new facility located at 517 Puckett Ferry Road in Greenwood, SCThe rate for this position is $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. The core hours are Monday through Thursday from 4:30 pm until 1:30 am and Friday from 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Please note that during the first approximately 90 days, training will take place on first shift hours.This position is eligible for a variable pay incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:The Assembly Technician II assembles, wires, and modifies work based on specified guidelines in the manufacture of medium and high voltage, indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and any sub-assemblies associated with these.Work to manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, written or oral instruction from supervisor or team lead to established procedures.Fill out ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists for supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering as required.Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations as needed.Regularly lift and assemble with heavy copper parts.Report shortages to appropriate operators of Kanban inventory.Inspect all assemblies for loose or missing hardware and cleanliness.Respond to change notices, customer requested adjustments, and development needs.Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer-initiated development work.Train and coach colleagues to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.This describes the general nature and level of work being performed and is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, or skills required.
