Job Summary

The Centralized Leasing Consultant serves as the live point of contact for prospective residents across a portfolio of multifamily communities when the EliseAI virtual leasing agent hands off a conversation. Working from the corporate contact center, this position is responsible for handling escalated leasing conversations primarily by phone, as well as by email, text message, and chat within the EliseAI platform.

The Centralized Leasing Consultant guides prospective residents through the leasing journey by providing property information, qualifying prospects, scheduling tours, following up on leads, supporting the application process, and helping achieve occupancy goals. This role combines customer service, sales, and administrative responsibilities while delivering a consistent and professional experience for every prospect.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sales and Lead Management

Respond promptly and professionally to prospective resident conversations handed off by the EliseAI virtual leasing agent, primarily by phone and through email, text message, and chat within the EliseAI platform.

Review the prospect's EliseAI conversation history before engaging so prospects do not have to repeat information already provided.

Qualify prospective residents based on community criteria and housing needs.

Provide accurate information regarding floor plans, pricing, availability, amenities, policies, promotions, and neighborhood information.

Utilize approved sales techniques to identify resident needs and match prospects with suitable apartment homes.

Convert inquiries into appointments, applications, and leases.

Conduct outbound follow-up calls with prospects when EliseAI automated follow-up is paused, unsuccessful, or requires a personal touch, to encourage leasing decisions.

Maintain a high level of lead-to-lease conversion performance.

Virtual Leasing Support

Schedule property tours and appointments with onsite teams.

Conduct virtual leasing presentations when applicable.(SB2.1)

Assist prospects with navigating online leasing platforms and application systems.

Guide applicants through the rental application process and explain required documentation.

Communicate application status updates as permitted by company policy.

Support lease execution processes through approved digital platforms.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
