Accounting Coordinator

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join their client's team in California. This position plays a crucial role in managing the company's financial transactions and ensuring that the accounts receivable processes are handled efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions accurately and timely.
  
  
• Prepare, verify, and process invoices for sales or services rendered.
  
  
• Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies and issues.
  
  
• Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  
  
• Apply cash receipts accurately and efficiently, including daily deposits and posting payments.
  
  
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  
  
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  
  
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  
  
• Support audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
  
• Proven experience (3+ years) in accounting roles, with a focus on AR, invoicing, collections, and cash application.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  
  
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, during regular business hours.
