Staff Accountant

EA Talent Solutions has been engaged by a mid-size real estate organization seeking a Staff Accountant to support the company’s day-to-day accounting operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, and ensuring strong financial controls across the organization. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed Reconcile bank accounts, credit card activity, and balance sheet accounts Maintain accurate property-level financial records and assist with variance analysis Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting Contribute to process improvements and strengthen internal controls Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1–3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within real estate or a related industry Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles Proficiency with accounting software and Excel Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus Compensation The expected base salary range for this role is $50,000 - 70,000 plus bonus opportunity.
