Job Description:


- Shift Details:
- Primarily 8-hour rotating shifts between x-ray, CT, and surgery
- Most shifts are during the day and afternoons
- Weekend shifts are 12-hour


- Department Overview:
- Join a dynamic CT/X-ray team!
- Coverage for various areas: ambulatory, clinic, outpatient, inpatient, ER, and OR
- Work at a critical access hospital designated for stroke care and trauma response


- Essential Qualifications:
- Must possess BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certifications
- Solid CT experience required; superior to Mammography skills
- Familiarity with x-ray and CT imaging techniques

- Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging studies including CTA's and trauma imaging
- Assist in surgery with C-arm as needed
- Work closely with a Radiology RN for enhanced patient care


- Technology Utilized:
- EMR: EPIC
- PACS: McKesson
- Equipment: Siemens 128 slice CT scanner, Siemens Ysio X-ray, GE OEC C-arm


- Support & Leadership:
- Access to a Director during weekdays
- Leads available for guidance and support


- Scheduling Flexibility:
- Shift lengths vary: 6a-2:30, 8-4:30, 8:30-5, 11:30-8, and more
- Weekend requirements typically every third or fourth week


- Orientation & Training:
- Department-specific orientation lasts typically 1 week
- Training available for floating to other areas as needed


- Attributes for Success:
- Strong communication skills
- Eagerness to listen and learn
- Willingness to assist in a busy environment


- Additional Information:
- Must have an established account for the MN netstudy
- RTO (Requests Time Off) is requested upfront
- No call shifts when appropriately staffed
