Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Not specified Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 1845-0715 every other weekend, 3 x 12s Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current License - Respiratory Therapist Certifications: Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care, BLS Must-Have: - Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience Description: Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor. Delivers life support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients. Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures to Intensive Care and General Practice patients. Maintains clinical expertise for departmental assignments throughout various business units as assigned. Communicates effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other employees as needed regarding patient care needs. Adequately documents all aspects of patient care. Supervises, directs, and delegates to Respiratory Therapists, externs, and students as assigned. Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information.
