Systems Test Engineer

Overview The Maritime Systems Division of Leidos is seeking a test engineer with experience in Model Based Systems Engineering, system integration, and test procedure creation. The candidate should have a strong understanding of systems engineering processes and experience with hardware/software integration. The role requires collaboration in an Agile environment and a willingness to identify and champion technical and process innovations. The C4I Prototype is a new product that is maturing toward deployment and includes a software defined radio; the Rust-based implementation controls the radio to meet mission objectives. Tasking and responsibilities will vary by project and may extend to programs beyond the C4I Prototype. Responsibilities Support the development and maintenance of systems engineering artifacts including SysML models, Test Plans, and Test Procedures. Perform test procedure execution and collect results for incorporation into Test Reports. Basic Qualifications US Citizenship required BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Masters Active Secret clearance Proven experience in integration and test Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Experience with SysML Preferred Qualifications Experience with the Navy’s Cooperative Engagement Capability Experience using the Atlassian toolset Experience with Cameo/Magic Draw Experience in Agile development methods, including Scrum Experience with MATLAB is beneficial About Leidos Leidos is an industry and technology leader serving government and commercial customers with smarter, more efficient digital and mission innovations.
