What You'll Do
- Administer medications accurately and on time according to physician orders, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate medication records, MARs, and resident documentation.
- Communicate with pharmacies, physicians, nurses, and families regarding resident care and medication needs.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns.
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, meals, and mobility.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents through conversation, activities, and daily interactions.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment.
- Support dining, activities, housekeeping, and other community needs as necessary.
- Uphold resident dignity, choice, privacy, and rights at all times.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- CNA or applicable caregiving/medication experience preferred.
- Ability to complete required Medication Technician training.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Food Handler certification.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Genuine passion for working with seniors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet applicable state health and regulatory requirements.
