Labor Journeyman

Overview The Labor Journeyman performs basic housekeeping on a construction site. Responsibilities Perform setup and clean up tasks at the job site, including removal of construction debris. Navigate construction job site terrain. Clean and sanitize jobsite trailers. Assist with basic deliveries and material storage. Perform housekeeping interior and exterior of the project site. Provide labor support as necessary for carpenters, masons, and other specialized contractors, as directed and planned by the Foreperson. Report all safety incidents and injuries to the Foreperson and Safety Leader. Coordinate any scope of work outside of the above listed tasks; such work shall be planned, documented, and approved by the Foreperson, Safety, and Management. Qualifications Experience / Education: High school diploma or GED. Construction experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. OSHA 10-hour certification recommended. Proof of certificates, degrees, etc. upon hire. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures; willingness to work in a high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations; ability to work in a team environment. Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.
