We sell our own branded products to a variety of retailers throughout the United States and Canada, including supermarkets, pharmacies, variety stores and dollar stores. JOB LOCATION(S): Brooklyn, NY A-Line Greetings is seeking a reliable, self-motivated, high energy Account Manager to join our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Account Manager serves as the primary contact between A-Line management and store owners. In this role, the Account Manager is responsible for building customer relationships while increasing business by selling and ordering products for a defined customer base within an assigned territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Educate and excite customers about our greeting card programs Analyze customer needs and business trends to help grow both their profitability and our own business Make incremental sales by placing additional products or programs in designated stores Maintain appropriate inventory levels, company assets, promotional ad signage (point of sale) and displays Ensure each account meets defined merchandising standards, determine stores' product needs and transmit appropriate replenishment orders Communicate and collaborate account activities to appropriate management Utilize sales force automation tools Work with customers to resolve A/R issues Periodic lifting of 50+ pounds, bending, reaching, kneeling and light merchandising

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma, GED or equivalent required 1+ years of general work experience required 1+ years of relevant sales experience preferred Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills Excellent planning and organization skills Proficient computer application skills Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines Must own a reliable vehicle Must be willing to travel within area (some overnight travel) 40 Hours per Week
