Commercial Banking Officer

Job Title: Commercial Banking Officer Enterprise Bank & Trust is seeking an experienced Commercial Banking Officer to support the management of commercial loan portfolios, ensuring sound credit decisions in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures. Summary Support the management of commercial loan portfolios by providing oversight and ensuring sound credit decisions in accordance with the Bank’s established policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage a commercial loan portfolio, including proper structuring of new loans and renewals based on established lending guidelines and loan policies. Analyze complex credits and prepare clear, complete written and oral presentations with minimal assistance. Work with Loan Coordinators in the processing and documentation of new loans and renewals of existing loans. Act as liaison between Relationship Managers and customers on day‑to‑day activities involving various departments within the Bank. Coordinate other client services to include Treasury Management, Card Solutions, Wealth Management, and Mortgage. Facilitate ongoing portfolio management, including coordinating appraisal reviews, collateral evaluations, and loan review updates. Assist the team with the origination of potential new financing and deposit opportunities. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Strong analytical and decision‑making skills based on a thoughtful assessment of risk, attention to detail, and good judgment of character. Excellent communication habits and ability to present sound recommendations in a professional manner. Effective time‑management and organizational skills required for daily multi‑tasking. Ability to analyze financial statements using Excel and create necessary pro‑formas to support new lending scenarios or hypothetical modeling. Superb interpersonal skills to work within a team environment while successfully developing and retaining client relationships. Self‑motivated to work independently and take ownership and accountability. General knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards, market trends, and products related to the banking industry. Formal credit training program preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities None Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business. Minimum one to three years of commercial lending experience. Computer and Software Skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Google Mail. Salesforce and LinkedIn experience preferred.
