Overview Registered Nurse - CCU (Travel) Geneva, New York, United States Start date: 03/30/2026 Contract length: 14 weeks Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) Weekly pay: $2,033–$2,148 Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital (travel assignment) Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,033–$2,148 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Contract duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3x12 Nights Start date: 03/30/2026 Travel assignment in a Short Term Acute Care setting with cross-unit duties and on-call requirements Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for CCU patients, including monitoring hemodynamics and adjusting care plans as directed Administer medications, manage invasive lines, and assist with ventilated patients following unit protocols Interpret clinical data, respond to changes in patient status, and elevate to physicians as needed Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams; document assessments and care in the electronic medical record Float to ICU/ER/Med-Surg/Medical Surgical Tech (MST) as required; maintain competency across units and ensure patient safety and infection control standards Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and safety considerations Requirements Active NYS Registered Nurse license Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (through AHA or the RQI system) and NIHSS required Basic Coronary Care knowledge within 6 months of hire CPI certification within 90 days of hire Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care units Ability to float to ICU/ER/MS/MST and work across multiple units as needed Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Fast credentialing Housing assistance Nationwide assignments Extension opportunities Dedicated support throughout the assignment Referral bonus up to $1,000 Find more opportunities If you’d like to explore other nursing travel openings, apply or browse additional opportunities at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
