Strong focus on accuracy, safety, equipment maintenance, and meeting production standards while ensuring consistent production quality.Grinds and cuts rubber tubes to the proper dimensions per the O.D. sheetProcures materialsPreps tubes and stripesSelects proper mandrelSets grinding stone at the dimension and starts grinding processRemoves mandrel from grinding lathe using an air hose, removes tube from the mandrelInspects and skims mandrel to cutterUsing a cutting lathe, sets stops, speed, and knife indexer then cuts partsChecks parts using quality toolsCould operate 1-4 machinesOperates grinding machinesSets up grinding wheel per dimensions and starts grinding processVisually inspects for quality defectsMust be able to successful pass a background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.Be able to demonstrate good attendance historySome basic computer skill may be requiredPay, Benefits, and Work ScheduleThis position starts at $20.85 and is eligible to reach top pay by step progression increases.
