This opportunity is for an IV/Chemo Pharmacy Technician to support an outpatient oncology infusion center specializing in chemotherapy and hematology treatments. The role is based at a cancer specialist center in Canton, GA, requiring a minimum of two years' experience in oncology or infusion pharmacy settings.


Location: Canton, GA

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  
  Job Type: Contract, 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer chemotherapy and hematology treatments in an outpatient infusion center
• Utilize IV start skills and access implanted ports for treatment administration
• Adhere to safety protocols specific to oncology and chemotherapy medication handling
• Support clinical staff with infusion therapy procedures

Desired Qualifications/Experience:

• Valid Georgia pharmacy technician license
• Minimum two years of experience in an oncology or infusion setting
• IV certification with competency in chemotherapy preparation and administration
• Knowledge of outpatient oncology pharmacy workflows and hematology treatments
• Competency in implanted port access and IV starts
• Ability to maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

This position excludes applicants residing within 50 miles of the site. Candidates should be prepared for a full-time weekday schedule during the 13-week contract engagement.
