Responsible for driving business results for a major program or portfolio of programs by integrating data from various teams including program finance, master planning, estimating, contracts, engineering, supply chain and other functions. Manages short and long-range financial and program performance internally and externally. Internal financial management includes contract orders, sales, profit, cash, capital expenditures and overhead costs. External management involves earned value management, program budget baselines and program performance reporting including estimates at completion. Assess issues, risks and opportunities that affect business portfolio/program performance and help develop associated action plans in coordination with program management. Interface and partner with external customers and internal stakeholders. Supports new business pursuits in development of executable and competitive proposals. Plays a key role in strategic business case development and analysis to support financial and operational decisions such as business integrations, enterprise investments, financial system/application strategies and other critical activities.
