Location: Lincoln, NE
Great Plains Redi Mix Concrete is seeking a dependable and experienced Mixer Driver to join our team in Lincoln, NE. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality concrete products to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:- Operate and drive a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites
- Ensure timely delivery of concrete products to customers in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety guidelines while on the road
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the mixer truck
- Communicate with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Assist with loading and unloading of concrete products as needed
- Adhere to all applicable DOT regulations and licensing requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Prior experience driving a mixer truck or similar commercial vehicle preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in all types of weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of concrete products and construction industry a plus
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
