Technical Accounting Manager

Technical Accounting ManagerWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Accounting Manager to join our dynamic accounting team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing guidance on technical accounting matters, researching accounting issues, and implementing accounting policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.Responsibilities:Provide guidance on complex technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, leases, and financial instruments.Research and analyze accounting issues to ensure compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the impact of new accounting standards and provide recommendations to management.Implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP.Support external audit activities, including the preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit inquiries.Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations and communicate impacts to stakeholdersQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Masters in Accounting CPA required.Must have 8+ years progressive accounting with at least 4 years of recent technical accounting experienceBig 4 or large regional public accounting experienceStrong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.Experience working with ERP systems such as Workday, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
