Requirements:

- NYS Nursing Assistant Certification

- BLS (AHA/RQI specifically)

- One (1) year of previous Long-Term Care (LTC) experience

- Must have a High School Diploma or GED

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as outlined in their plan of care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

- Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the resident's environment, answering call lights and alarms promptly.

- Support residents with their nutritional needs, including meal delivery and feeding assistance, while honoring their preferences.

- Assist with residents' rehabilitative needs, including mobility support and the use of assistive devices.

- Report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the supervising nurse in a timely manner.

Compliance / Notes:

- Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated.

- Required tasks may involve potential contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
