Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a travel assignment in Penn Yan, NY. This role requires working under the direction of licensed nursing personnel to perform direct and indirect patient care within a long-term care (LTC) environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan to address adult and geriatric patient needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Meet residents' ADL needs as per care plan within a safe environment, including hygiene, grooming, and toileting needs. Complete documentation per protocol.
Maintain residents' environment and safety per care plan, responding to call lights and alarms promptly. Ensure cleanliness and appropriateness of equipment.
Fulfill residents' nutritional needs, honoring preferences. Handle meal delivery, tray preparation, and feeding with proper documentation.
Address residents' rehabilitative needs, including range of motion exercises, ambulation, and transfer assistance. Document care provisions.
Report residents' rights, refusals, or concerns to supervising nurse timely. Monitor changes in resident status and report promptly.
Perform tasks with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, maintaining safety protocols.

Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

NYS Nursing Assistant Certification required
BLS (AHA or RQI) certification required
One (1) year of experience in a long-term care (LTC) or CNA capacity
