Global Technical Specialist, Clinical PT
LGC Group
LGC Proficiency Testing seeks a clinical laboratory specialist to support its proficiency testing programs. The role involves providing technical support to participants, managing PT rounds and system configurations, and ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17043 standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver first-line technical support to PT participants via email regarding portal system and result submission
- Coordinate PT round scheduling, shipping logistics, and program setup with Global Technical Manager
- Configure rounds and manage customer orders within IFS and PORTAL systems
- Review statistical analyses, technical summaries, and interpretive content for PT program reports
- Create and maintain technical documentation and participant instructions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent
- ASCP certification or equivalent credential
- Proficiency testing experience preferred
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17043 standards
- Knowledge of clinical laboratory technical developments
