RN, AH Employee Health Coordinator (Per diem, Onsite - Roseville CA)

Located in the metropolitan area of Sacramento, the Adventist Health corporate headquarters have been based in Roseville, California, for more than 40 years. Job Summary Coordinates overall daily activities of the employee health services. Coordinates system-wide immunizations, inoculations and health screenings for pre-employment and on an annual basis to employees. Develops and manages employee health services at the system level. Works in conjunction with the employee health manager, medical providers and coordinators to ensure existing and new hire associates are onboarded in accordance with Adventist Health’s standards. Works to ensure associates remain compliant with established standards. Education and Work Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing: Preferred Licenses/Certifications Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice: Required Essential Functions Acts as liaison for employee assistance programs, referring employees to counselors as appropriate. Evaluates the work environment and follows through on health-related environmental concerns with appropriate Job Description Report department leadership or administration. Promotes health maintenance and prevention of illness and injury at work. Establishes and develops working relationships with outside providers. Completes all pre-hire health evaluations and annual health screens and processes in a timely manner. Maintains complete records of all employees. Preserves confidentiality of records. Maintains communication with system leadership on all compensation cases. Evaluates all employee reports of injury with timely processing. Investigates organization accidents and maintains statistics of injuries and observes outcomes. Assists with temporary work programs. Maintains knowledge of current trends of employee health, changes in legal issues, and nursing serviced policies and procedures, communicates this information to management as appropriate. Develops quality improvement and proposes new and revised employee health policies and procedures as needed. Works to ensure all associates are compliant with all Adventist Health employee health standards. Develops reports and distributes information as needed to assist market employee health RNs in their daily work. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
