OB Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a qualified OB Registered Nurse with Med Surg experience to join our team. This position involves working in both obstetrics and medical-surgical units as needed. The candidate must possess previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) environment.

Shift Information

The scheduled shift for this role is from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM. The responsibilities may include a heavier workload in the medical-surgical unit depending on the needs of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in both obstetrics and medical-surgical units.
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio for obstetrics and an average of 1:3 patient ratio for medical-surgical care.
• Utilize CPSI/Perigen charting for patient documentation.
• Occasionally take on charge duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in obstetrics and medical-surgical nursing.
• Valid Kansas or Multistate nursing license required at the time of application.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, Fetal Heart Certification, and NRP, all obtained through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Preferred applicants will have previous travel nursing experience.

Additional Information

Flu vaccination is strongly preferred; however, religious and medical exemptions will be accepted. Those with exemptions will be required to wear a mask during the flu season.
