Radiology Technologist

Pay range: Hourly $41.11 – $61.67. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic exams within established guidelines in the radiology department utilizing fixed diagnostic radiology equipment, portable X‑ray and fluoroscopic equipment on inpatient units, emergency department, surgery, SPU, and pain management. May be assigned to the hospital and required to float to outpatient imaging locations (e.g., Issaquah, Redmond, or OMT) to meet departmental needs. Serve as a role model and resource within the hospital, demonstrating ability to work as part of a team and independently as required. May be scheduled for standby on a rotational or seniority basis for after‑hours and holiday coverage. Schedule Saturday–Monday 07:00–15:30. Qualifications Minimum associate degree from an accredited radiology program. Equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Must be ARRT registry‑eligible upon hire and have graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and be registered with the State of Washington as an X‑ray Technician. Acquire ARRT certification within six months of employment. Annual renewal of ARRT required; evidence of renewal must be verified by primary source. Within three months of obtaining ARRT, must obtain Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT). Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital; evidence of renewal must be verified by primary source. Healthcare Provider level CPR required upon hire. Previous hospital experience preferred for staff radiology positions. Must complete 24 continuing medical education credits every two years per ARRT mandate. Additional Qualifications for Lead Must have ARRT(R) and RT state license upon hire. Minimum five‑year post‑graduate technical experience required. Prior lead/supervisory experience preferred.
