Survey CAD Technician

Position SummaryThe CAD Technician is responsible for the AutoCAD drafting of the topographic, utility, Right-of-Way, Boundary and ALTA surveys for various types of commercial, industrial and residential site projects throughout regions where we provide professional services. Projects include working with several Fortune 500 companies, as well as working with local and regional developers with varying degrees of complexity.ResponsibilitiesPlan and prepare field work files and detailed survey plats from field work, notes, sketches, and/or other reference drawings, ensuring they meet company and industry standardsDraft topographic, utility, Right-of-Way, Boundary, ALTA Surveys and Construction As-BuiltsDraft Subdivision Plats for Township and County approvalWork closely with Engineers, Designers and other Drafters to ensure coordination design effort is maintainedComplete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget and schedule; review drawings for completeness and accuracyOrganize/maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files and project-related informationComplete earthwork analysis (cut/fill takeoffs)Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma required. Associate's Degree and/or Bachelor's Degree preferredTechnical degree or certificate of completion from an accredited designer/drafter curriculum preferredKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesLand Development Design experience is a plusKnowledge of Civil 3D is a plusPossess good working knowledge within CAD drawings as related to a variety of issuesAbility to prioritize and multi-task with respect to projects, CAD standards, and deadlines, etc. on a daily basisWillingness to assume increased responsibilitiesAbility to work as a team player and interact well with othersAbility to learn and adapt in a fast paced environmentExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPointWhy Join Dynamic?At Dynamic, we believe great careers are built through meaningful work, continuous growth, and strong relationships.
