Senior Accountant Technology Accounting

Responsibilities Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliation schedules with the ability to communicate account activity to all levels of management. Work cross functionally to understand general ledger and invoice activity to ensure proper accounting treatment. Own and execute technology function Labor Reporting to assess accruals and capitalization. Interact with the corporate tax department to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local tax laws. Contribute to the development of purchase and obligation reporting to measure current and future obligations. Own quarterly Balance Sheet and Income Statement review and fluctuation analysis. Lead quarterly analysis around 842 Lease Accounting Standards, Contractual Obligations, and Technology Asset Review. Maintain Power BI dashboard for technology projects. Review and analyze current finance processes, making appropriate recommendations for improvements and efficiencies. Qualifications Seasoned analytical, system and accounting skills (strong understanding of GAAP). Ability to prepare all work in a timely manner with high level of attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication & presentation skills. Proven ability to multi-task and work independently; able to meet all deadlines and handle multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment. 3-5 years Accounting and/or Finance experience. SAP-enabled process experience/skills preferred. PC skill proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power BI Education Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required. CPA a plus.
